We are open during term time Monday to Friday* between 9.00- 15:30 . We are registered for 41 children aged 2 to 5 years old.
We are a member of both the Pre-School Learning Alliance and National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) and registered with Southend Borough Council Early Years and Learning Department to provide Free Funding from the term after your child's 3rd birthday.
*Fiday morning sessions only until September 2012 then afternoon sessions also available
We believe that Early Years education flourishes in a warm and loving atmosphere, so the guiding principle at Westcliff U.R.C Pre-School is that our children should feel settled and happy. To this end our aims are:
- To teach children to live and play together.
- To provide oppurtunities for activities, always guided by The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- To give freedom of play under a watchful eye.
- To encourage independence.
- To prepare the children for school and to make the transition easier.

We are situated on Kings Road at the junction with Mount Avenue and Leigh Road, within close distance of Leigh Broadway and of Chalkwell Park, Schools and Station. We can easily be reached by car, train, bus or on foot.
