Clothing
All coats, shoes, jumpers etc should be clearly marked with your child’s name. We cannot accept responsibility for the loss of any article of clothing. However, if it is reported before the child is taken home every effort will be made to trace the lost item. We do ask that in the summer the children come to Pre-School with a named sun hat for their protection.

General Information
Please do not send children with sweets or drink, as milk fruit and vegetables are provided during the morning. Please remember  the children come to play and enjoy themselves, they do not want to be getting into trouble for messing up a best jumper or trousers, therefore please dress them comfortably.

Working with your child.
We have a key worker system in operation at the setting. All this means is that each member of staff has 5-8 children under their care for the assessment sheets and folders.
When each child enters our Pre-School we set up an assessment folder for them. The assessment sheets give a basic knowledge of the child’s development during his/her time at Pre-School.

Settling in period.
You may stay with your child for as long as you feel happiest. We will say though, if your child does cry when you leave we can assure you it is for a very short time and before long they will be smiling happily when you leave. We like children to be practically potty trained but if he/she has an occasional accident it is dealt with very quickly and quietly and with no upset to the child.
