Fees and Session Times

Fees
The fee of £8.80 per session (a session is a morning or an afternoon). Fees are payable every half term in advance, by cash or cheque. Payments are invoiced on the first day of the term. We do not accept late payment of fees. The Pre-School will apply a 10% penalty charge for late payments. The Pre-School reserves the right to withdraw a child’s place if parent continue to pay late fees.
All sessions must be paid for when your child does not attend i.e due to illness, holidays. The Pre-School can not make any reductions or refunds of any kind.
Fees which remain unpaid after the due date will incur a 10% penalty charge of their invoice total. However, if enough notice is given and we are able to fill your child’s place for that period then no charge will be made. Four weeks notice must be given if, for any reason, you wish your child to stop attending the Pre-School.

Registration
There is a £25.00 registration fee per child for administration etc, and is non-returnable. This fee will only be refunded if we are unable to offer your child a place at the Pre-School.

Funding
The term after your child is three he/she will be eligible for funding from the local council provided that you reside within the Southend On Sea area. We fill out all appropriate forms but a copy of the child’s birth certificate must be shown to a member of staff just for confirmation. Also you will be asked your postcode.

Every child is entitled to five free sessions of a minimum of 2½ hours per session, per week. If a child goes to two settings the five sessions can be claimed for between the two groups i.e. if a child comes to us for 3 sessions and somewhere else for the other two then between the two settings we have claimed for his/her 5 sessions quota.

Mon - Thurs 9.00am - 11.50am

Afternoon sessions
Mon - Thurs 12.45pm - 3.15pm

Session Times for the 2½ - 3 year old
Morning sessions
Mon- Thurs 9.00am - 11.30am

Afternoon session
Mon - Thurs 12.45pm - 3.15pm

Parents are requested not to leave their children at the Pre-School before the session starts at 9.00am for the morning.

Holidays
The Pre-School follows the Southend school holidays. The Pre-School is closed on Bank Holidays
