Parents
At Westcliff URC Pre-School we recognise the important role parents play in their child’s development and education. The Staff here at the Pre-School welcome parents to join us and contribute to their child’s development if they wish to do so.
Parents/Carers are always welcome to join in the fun at the Pre-School either on a volunteer basis or just to see how your child is settling in to Pre-School life.
We do have regular events which involve the parents. Every Half term we have what we like to call ‘Bring your Parent/Carer to Pre-School day’ This has proven to be a great success and both parents and children enjoy this special time together. It is a time for the parents to see what we do at the pre-School, find out how their child is doing and just to have a chat with other parents and have fun with their child.
Parents/Carers are also invited to social events and to talk to their child’s key worker regularly.
Parents are kept informed regularly of their child’s progress and development. Including their physical and intellectual development, food eaten, activities, rest taken, which is communicated when you pick your child up.
We also keep the Parents informed through regular News Letters, which detail recent and forthcoming events.
Our staff are always happy to discuss any concerns or matters with you, concerning your child. |
